Welcome to Eugene Sportbike Forum! Please take a minute to introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your riding experience.
My name is Mike, and I ride an '02 Yamaha YZF600R (AKA Thundercat). I've been riding motorcycles of one kind or another for most of my life, but joined the ranks of the sports bike enthusiasts about 10 years ago with a Kawasaki ZX750. Ive had several sportbikes from there, and continued my riding with several track days and corner speed schools over the last few years. Myself, and the other administrators of this forum began the group in order to create a place where local riders could get to know each other better, offer one another advice, and to plan events. I sincerly hope you enjoy this group and consider it your own.

It's nice to see that the Eugene sport bike scene is growing so well. Now at least there is a place to meet people other then having to chase them down when they ride by:rolleyes: My name is Dan, I ride an RC51, and I suspect that if you can't find me online here in the evenings, try www.rc51.com where I'm constantly picking the brains of the guys there to find more ways to fine tune the beast. My bro will be online soon, he has an R1 on ship from Hawaii, and you will see the black w/red flames R1 and the RC51 many a time up wolf creek, loraine hwy, and all the other usual haunts. peace!

jennifer here. i ride an 02 cb750 most of the time and have been known to roll around on a ruckus(for laser speed trips through the woods), a hurricane(at the strip where i was competitive with the high horsepower high dollar programs), and have even been seen on the back killer 919. i love my nighthawk though. i ride all year round especially when it freezing ass cold or raining. this is oregon and there are no bad riding days, just the wrong gear.... oh i did have to skip that last snow dumping as the studded tires in my size were unavailable. cant do everyday i guess. anyways.. ive taught and seen endorsed 5 women and 2 men, all still living. i love to work on my bike and will do anything to avoid giving my bike and money to someone else for any reason. ive been riding since 00 and i will go outta my way to help someone who wants to learn to ride ride. i ride today because i want to ride tomorrow. i dont care what folks ride, ride em if you got em. though if you have to put it away for the winter, maybe you should think about getting rid of that harley. hehehe... anyways.. ride up.
