Hey Ya'll,
I just installed one on my '05 GSXR 750 and love it. Best upgrade yet by far. The question I have, and it may be bike specific, is that the stabilizer 'tounge' that recieves the 'nub' attached to my tank bolts is flush.....that is, the nub is flush with the top of the tounge. Yikes, thats confussing. I saw a picture recently and the nub was sticking through the tounge by about a 1/4 inch. Does anybody have a similar bike with a Scotts? Does yours look like this? Thanks...... Oh, I will try to take and post some pics to help my jankie explanation.
I wouldn't worry about it. Here's mine on the 929.

Mine looks the same as Tron's. and you're right, one of the best up grades I've ever made :2cents:
also, mine was used when I bought it, so I don't have a manual. does the right adjuster under the dust cover adjust for high speed damning? or is that a port for changing fluid?
Good question Dan... I got mine used as well and I didn't know either but I looked it up and you can download the manual from this location:

It appears your first impression was correct and the screw on the right is the high speed valve.

Cool, it does appear that the nub is flush with the tounge too - Thanks guys. I couldn't find a used one so I got it spankin' new. I have the paperwork and stuff if you guys need/want it for any reason. Have either of you played with all the settings yet? Im a bit scared to F-it up so have only been messin around with the lowspeed adjustment. Do you guys understand how to adjust the screws on the side that adjust sweep angle dampning? I dont even know what this is :thinking:. Other than that, Im luvin'it:thumbup:
I haven't played with the other settings but this is what the "Stabilizer Manual" says about the sweep valves. Basically, it sets where the dampening feature will be in effect.

Thanks Tron, that is really helpful:thumbup:
As far as settings go, for my self I counted the number of clicks from full loose, to full stiff. I then set the damper a quarter of the way from loose for normal riding, then when I hit the twisties, I increase it about half way. I have been playing quite a bit with it to find the most comfortable setting when riding. Man or man what a difference it makes.
