not if you file sr22. State farm is crazy expensive. They don't deny you but raise the money so hi that you leave. Progressive is about the best you will probably find. But never hurts to shop around.
PS. if you have a good record state farm is good.

State Farm also requires at least six months of insurance prior to signing up with them. I have had them for the last sixteen years, and as far as insurance goes I don't think I can do better. I have three bikes and my truck on the same policy and it's still under $120.00 a month. They also give out dividends every once in a while-just got one on Monday for $61.00.

Don't know if they do SR22 filing or not, but I have my bikes insured with Markel and they're pretty reasonable.

We just got one for 27 bucks. Kinda funny, considering I totalled a bike in oct:laughing: State farm rocks:rad:
And I will say it again......If you don't have personal injury protection (PIP) already, GET IT!!!!!!! My wife deals with bikers that are involved in hit/runs or the driver that hit the bike is uninsured or single vehicle crash, and you're pretty much screwed if you don't have it.
It saved my behind. Paid for docs, surgery, meds, bike, everything. It doesn't cost as much as you would think.
Rant over,

Ouch, that's not cool. I assume that since your having to file a sr22, you got popped for riding w/o insurance. So just wondering what is stopping you from continuing to do that?
Personally, if some uninsured motorist hits me, you better believe I am going to own their @$$ when all is said and done. :bash: That or it will go down as a hit-and-run/missing person report.:shifty:
Really though, sorry to hear about your situation John.:frown:

Tons of speeding tixx as well as a speed racing violation back in the day. My insurance is dirt cheap thru State Farm. They beat the snot our of American Family & also Progressive. As a matter of fact, when I got my quote from State Farm & called my American Fam. agent to drop my policy, he thought that my St. Farm quote was impossibly wrong and advised me not to switch (no shock there). He actually Called State Farm to see what was up then called me back minutes later to tell me it was legit & they couldn't come close to matching the same price.

I really like and have used State Farm for years but one catch - and it sucks - is that they do NOT cover gear in case of a unplanned dismount. Anybody know of a way to insure expensive leathers and helmets let me know.....
