There is a wire harness of wires that runs up from behind the gauges that rests on a sharp piece of exposed metal, take off the windscreen and look straight down, it looks like several wires wrapped in in tape, I suggest putting a piece of foam or rubber between them, this is a must seeing if they get frayed you may lose power or short circuit something, and if you are doing 100+ and you power cuts out...well you can imagine, I am going to find some pictures that show the exact piece that I am talking about, hope this helps any R1 owners out there.:yes:
