hey all, just a quick 'was up' from Laguna Seca. Mason and I are having a blast, only got pulled over once lol, no ticket though. Stoner and Pedrosa have been the quickest so far, with suzuki's Vermulen 3rd. but the Kentucky kid, Nickey Hayden has placed a respectable 4th in qualifying. gonna be a great race tommorow. Mason and I have so far got lot's of free stuff, rode on the track behind the pace car and watched a free Hoobastank concert. took lots of pics to go up when I get back. that's all for now, I'm tired and I'm also typing this in my hotel room on a tiny palm pilot :rolleyes:

got in late tonight. pics up tomorrow afternoon some time, just off the top, here are some numbers

300 + ...... amount in gas for truck

3 redbulls per day for me, 5 for Mason over 5 days = 40 redbulls consumed, plus or minus a half dozen

100 minuets, rough estimate of time spent stuck in traffic

10 minuets, amount stuck in traffic after we figured out how to properly lanes split.

1, number of times pulled over by the cops for improper lane splitting technique.

0, number of tickets by said cops....yay!

3, number of wheelies by myself. admittedly more then I've done in probably two years as the cost of rebuilding suspension again is not worth it....but honestly, how many times do you get to ride one wheel on the way into Laguna Seca?

2, number of stomach aches from too many said redbulls.

1, number of huge, ear to ear grins, that will last for 51 more weeks.

2, number of times Colin Edwards used his double barrel t-shirt gun to give shirts to the crowd.

27, number of this years Redbull grand prix

5, number of my favorite racer.

The proper way is to get behind a cop. When just bikes do it most cars won't give you much room. But, when you follow a bike cop they seem to open like the red sea. way cool. :thumbup:

Dan, glad you guys had a great time too. What a nice vacation. To bad we didn't hook up down there.

We rode up to Alices one day and it rained on us most of the way up was still warm so wasn't to bad. was nicer on the way down. For being the worst part of the whole trip it was still really awesome. Can't wait till next year.
