A few months ago there was a sweet video on "How to Do Wheelies" by some dude riding a black 636. It is the exact bike that my girlfriend Ellie has, and I wanted to look at it again. I tried doing the same thing on hers that I've been doing on mine (98 ZX6R) and it almost scared my poop out. So how long do the threads stay on anyway? I guess I should've downloaded it when I had the chance. Please re-post if you have it or let me know where I could find it. Thanks, you guys are the best. Vinny

Hers does it much easier. I think if I go down one tooth in the front it'll be about the same on mine. Mine will do it, it just takes some real encouragement. Course I'm still just learning, started trying to figure it out like 3 months ago and now I'm past the scary part and just need to practice.

are you doing this while she is at work or does she know her bike became a practice bike? :shhh:

LMAOROF! She actually takes the bike keys with her to work, but if I'm good she lets me ride, and sometimes we trade. If she cant make it to bike night tonight, I'll be there on hers. She's actually getting a custom plate that says "HER RYD" So that'll be extra embarrassing when I'm riding it. But come on now, really, I mean how cool is it to have an S.O. who rides. Shes slowly starting to ask questions about how to wheelie and asked me the other day if I would be scared if she wheelied. I said yeah, I'd be a little nervous. Um wheelies are bad m kay. (sound like Mr. Garrison). So what about the speedo if I go down one in the front, is there a fix for that? V-

there's a thing called the yellow box that is suppose calibrate for the gear change. I changed my gears on my 6. I just go with the fastest moving object on the road and call it good..

Dude, ever since I got the Ninja I can't help gut be too agressive with the throtle and clutch. I find myself wanting to slip it up ALL the time...
I swear I'm gonna get into trouble. I consider myself to be a pretty responsile rider, but I swear the bike brings it out of me.
I'm thinking of changing up the gearing, maybe down 1 in the front and up a couple in the rear. What do you guys think? The bike wheelies just fine, but it could do roll-ons a bit better. I find myself just about maxed out in rpm's if I do a roll-on. Then again, I'm pretty used to how it comes up now, and changing up the gearing might thow me for a loop when I clutch it.
