You guys know anything about this bike?
I'm interested, but Albany is a little far because I'm up in Portland, so I wouldn't mind if I could get some inside info on this...

Thanks in advance,

Hi Kris!

I actually talked to this guy and he said it's a branded title because it was stolen and they took the plastics and the tank off.

If it's true, then that would be awesome because then I wouldn't have to worry about frame damage.

no branded means A "Branded Title" is a passenger motor vehicle ownership document issued by any of the 50 states of the U.S. (or the District of Columbia) or a passenger motor vehicle registration document issued by any province of Canada (which also may be referred to herein as a "Branded Registration") which was issued with words or symbols signifying that the vehicle was: junked or salvaged; dismantled, rebuilt or reconstructed; flood damaged; fire damaged; hail damaged; bought back by its manufacturer ("Lemon Law" vehicle); odometer exceeds mechanical limits; odometer was not actual mileage; declared a total loss (Canada only); or which was issued with any other symbol or word signifying a similar Brand

He said it was rebuilt by adding the tank and plastics back on.

Well, as far as the TLR goes... I LOVE mine. I got 37K miles and no problems! It's got lots of torque... His listed numbers are optomistic, 120-124HP is more like it, with about 78-80 ft. lbs. of torque, top speed about 150 or so. They are comfortable, and really fun to ride. They seem heave when you get on them, but they carry the weight well once they are moving. I can help you with some suspension tweeks that can sort out the handeling even better.....
