new tires have replaced the old tires done by me!!! piece of cake! found out my moto tire changer is in fact a car tire changer so i had to call man power over to assist. shall NEVER pay for tires to be mounted or balanced again!!! :rad: :D ill improve on my current set up and go from there.. and the best part about it all is that i was available when i wanted and im more than happy with the time and price that it took to get it done... yay hoooray!!! new rubber rules!!

Way to go!There is a lot of satisfaction in doing difficult tasks yourself. It always gives me a thrill to be able to do my own work, and avoid shop fees.

doing stuff yourself saves huge bucks when your paying someone $80 an hour to do it for you. I don't like taking anything in to a shop.

the first and last time i took a bike of mine into someone else to do something to was when i first started riding and i needed new tires put on and this shop mounted them backwards!! and then when i questioned them about it they said, oh no, theyll be fine that way, there is no difference etc etc etc... right then i knew that i could at the very least do things backwards myself. i didnt grow up with motorcycles or mechanics for that matter so is been a learning curve for sure. i try to ask alot of questions to alot of people. 9.5 times out of 10 youll get wildly varying answers but i just try to weed through that. i really get a sense of satisfaction with motorcycles because ive had to double up to get here.
(where was that tombstone you sat next to? lets ride!!)

I could probably find it if I was on the road. All I remember is it was on a right hand turn (coming from Dorena) with a nice little creek running through it. And I'm pretty sure it was right after a stretch of gravel road. Thats all I know.
