If you haven't got a tire yet I have a 014 bridgestone. not much left on the sides (still good for a few good rides) but plenty on the crown.

Have you tried the Pilot Roads and if so, what is your opinion of them compared to the Pirellis?

Have you tried the Pilot Roads and if so, what is your opinion of them compared to the Pirellis?I haven't run the Pirelli stradas but the diablos that came on my Multistrada were good. They lasted 4500 miles, but that was the first set of tires on my first bike. Next I put on the Pilot Roads. At first I liked them, but as the wore I realized that what I liked about them at first was simply that they were new tires. They really weren't sticky enough, but I got almost 6000 miles out of those. Then I went to Pilot Powers. Much better grip than the Roads, but I only get about 3500Miles them. Right now I have Avon Storms and they seem to be in between in terms of grip. Don't know about mileage yet, but I've put on 1500m and they still look good.

i did dunlop Q's last year and only got 2500 mi out of the rear (sticky tire)
i got 4000 out of the stradas (rear) and 6000 on the front. (good traction)
i going with the storms next, i been hearing a lot of + notes on them.
