hi all... so last spring i upgraded my scorpion exo400 to the exo700 and found it to not be so swift. for some reason it hurt my neck so i had to go back to my worn out 400. sucks because i bought two of the 700s!!! anyways... i tried on the 1000 and the thing fits me wonderfully!! ive got over 50k and two seasons or racing on my current helmet and its way past time for newness... anyone already have the 1000?? of all the helmets ive used the scorpion works the best for me. imho. anyways... anyone using a 1000? im pretty sure ill have to get one just will i wait for winter riding to finish and do it at the beginning of the year or what... i could ask santa for it!!!! even better... the dark smoke visor with the little flip down deal should be great for my eyes. they are so dang sensitive!! thoughts??

I think the flip down shade is pretty cool design. I haven't heard anything bad about Scorpion yet, and I know a lot of people prefer them over the more expensive brands. The only drawback I can see about the internal shade is the extra weight/things to break.

i agree...
i wish i could wear my 700 though. the fit of the 1000 was much nicer than either the 400 or 700. i really like the scorpions. of all the helmets ive worn its the only one that the no fog visor actually works. it will barely try to fog in the pouring rain at freeway speed and then returns to good right quickly. i used one of those fog city no fog inserts and the thing sucked major!! it was awful especially at night. i think folks who dont ride design riding gear really. anyways...

I wear the 700 and dig it... HJC is a larger shell, good design but not for all head shapes... I have a narrow head... the scorpion fits better for me... same with shoi and some suomi. Which model of 700's do you have and what would you want if you sold them?
