Walked the new PIR track on Saturday. I think that it will be faster than last year and just as safe. Turns 3, 4, 5 will be very fast. Make sure that you have good tires and your suspension is set up.

Good to hear from someone who has seen it in person. I had heard a lot of people saying that T5 was completely screwed up and scary now. Thanks for the update:thumbup: I can't wait for next year:bounce:

My buddy and I went to check out the track on Sunday, but got stopped by a staffer who told us no one was supposed to be in the park. :blah-blah Something about how the gate was supposed to be closed... We didn't really get to check out that much, but looks like the extra dirt from the hill that used to be by turn 6 (bike turn 3) has been used to create an elevation change through turns 5 and 6 (bike 2 and 3)...:idunno::ride:

The elevation change is up going through T3 and comming down into T4. Not much but it will be different. Too bad about not getting to see much. We got to drive most of the back side, not sure we were supposed to be there but nobody said anything to us and there were workers there.

We might be at T-Hill in Feb to get some practice in. Good luck with the Novice School. Are you going to the Omrra or CascadeTrackTime School?

Sorry about the delay. Yes I did race last year. I race in the 600 supersport and 600 suberbike class with the 03 R6. I run the 92 f2 in open classic superbike and ride a 650 Hysoung in the endurance series. For the 2008 season I will run the R6 in two 600 senior classes because of the age of the bike. The F2 and Hysoung will stay the same. I may ride a GSXR 750 in endurance if anything happens to the Hysoung, but I have to say the Korean bike stayed together last year. My bike # is 303. I think that having another novice school provider is a good thing for OMRRA because with the volunteer nature of OMRRA, not enough dates are available for the demand. I think this will swell the number of racers in OMRRA which is a real good thing. More people, more interest, more better everything! Not sure if I have met you yet.
