Howdy,
I'm 40, and just bought my first bike-actually I just bought 2 bikes, now I need to sell one.
I'm thinking tomorrow would be a great time to hit the coast, if someone wants to go. Actually, it might be a bad time, with everyone headed that way to escape the heat, but what the heck.
I'm not into aggressive riding-especially at this point, I'm more into the sport-touring aspect, and just want to take it easy and start skillbuilding. I hate to go too far, since I'm still waiting for some proper gear to arrive, hopefully next week. Got a helmet & boots, but that's it.
I'm basically a loner, so you probably won't be seeing me at any big group meets. As you can probably tell from my avatar, I have a slightly demented sense of humor. :shooting:

Nudie......? I think I get it. Naked bike..... I assume the 1200 Bandit is exposed chassis and not wind deflection, thus considered a Naked bike.
Did u think someone was going to catch that? Or was it just coincidence.....?
Anyway...:blah-blah :blah-blah :blah-blah
Welcome to the forum man! :moped:

Nope, just a lame attempt at humor. Nudie-newbie get it??
I have the 1200s; the "s" means it has a fairing. I didn't want a naked bike.

Gee whiz, you make me feel so loved!
So, who's a good mechanic, that I can get to do some work on my ride, so I won't have to pay a shop $60 bucks an hour?

From Rideboy5:
So you don't want to come out to Bike Night to meet everybody but you want someont to work on your bike cheap?? Am I getting that straight?
Got a problem with that? :bash: I think you need to chill.
Your post vanished, so I assume you deleted it. Are you always so friendly to new members?
I don't believe that attending bike night is a prerequisite to posting, or any other activities related to this site. Actually, I had thought I might show up this week, or more likely next week.
Besides, I figure there's people out there who enjoy working on bikes, and wouldn't mind making a few bucks.

While it would be great to meet everyone who posts in the forum, attending bike night is not a prerequisit as evidenced by the members that do not even live near Eugene. All are welcome here. This forum is a great tool to keep everyone up to date on the local happenings and in the sport bike scene everywhere, or whats happening in our personal lives. We use it to help one another out and offer advice when a friend just "Cant figure out what the heck is going on with that carburetor".
TL Jester is planning a BBQ the first week of next month, and it would be great if everyone could attend that, but for those that can't, Im sure there will be lots of pics on here to check out afterwards.
Stay long and post often!:clapping:
