Has anybody taken Siuslaw River Rd lately? Last I heard the gravel was still bad between Lorane and the junction with Wolf Creek. How about the section from Alma to Hwy126? I noticed that the bridge is done, but I haven't checked the road out.

we can sweep it this spring. I will volunteer my truck and a six pack of beer for the sweepers, if I can get some volunteers to help sweep

I was just out past Loraine late last week picking Chantrelles and was torn because that is a nice new surface but as stated previously, the re-paving has left that new gravel shoulder wich is releasing copius amounts of gravel onto the road. Hopefully this will change by spring. So for now - dont risk it.

I'm might be up for it, but we'd have to only do the corners. Oh, and is that a six pack per sweeper? or would we have to share?:bounce:

I know it's a lot of road, but I was just thinking of doing the corners and nasty spots.
