We met with the neurosurgeon today and the news wasn't as good as we hoped. The tumor is located inside the brain in between the crease where the two pieces of brain come together, so the will have to separate the two pieces of the brain to remove it. There is a a high success rate. the risks to the surgery is there is a chance his heart could stop and after the surgery he may not be able to swallow might be temporary but if it is permanent he may have to be fed through a feeding tube for life. We have the best surgeon in Eugene and we feel very confident. His surgery will take place January 2nd. And thanks again for every ones support and prayers:)

I believe things will go just fine.
Even with the things you list, a heart can be restarted and feeding through a tube is far better then not being here to see the kids grow up and grow old with his loved ones.
Nick, know you have many people that will be thinking of you and here to help any way we can.
Brenna keep us informed and don't be shy to ask for help. It's out here.

I didn't see anything else posted anywhere (but Lord knows I'm not on the forum much in the winter and there were too many UNREAD posts to look through), so please forgive me if this info is posted elsewhere. I've spoken to Brenna and have an update I thought everyone would want.
Nick's surgery was sucessful and he is recovering well. They moved him out of the ICU, but he is still in a lot of pain. Still, it sounds like he is his same old self. I didn't get all the details, but I did get the impression they are expecting a full recovery!
God Speed, Nick!

So it's been awhile everyone! Sorry I've been such a snob, but I needed a little me time so I could focus on my recovery..
Anyways, I am well on my way to 100%. I took the thumper out to the dunes last weekend and had a blast!! I only crashed because of my dizziness once! All of the other times were because of my own stupidity. But hey everyone that knows me knows that I know how to have fun on two wheels, so its ok!:rad: If anyone here has quads or dirt bikes and wants to go play on a nice day let me know.. I have lots of free time mon-fri. sitting at home is really becoming a drag, so please LET ME KNOW!! Maybe sun? Brian? I know you need to get that quad out! anyways I better go before I start to sound desperate...
Thank's for everyone's support and prayers!! I couldnt have done it without you guy's!!
