I'm going to swap my stocks for galfer stainless braided lines today. Just figured I'd see if a step-by-step would help anyone before I start. Lemme know. I won't be getting at it 'till this afternoon.

:2cents: If you change from a glycol-based fluid (DOT 3&4) to a silicone based (DOT 5) fluid or vice versa, make sure you disassemble and clean the master cyl., calipers, etc. of ALL the old fluid. The two types aren't compatible and if mixed they'll create a gooey, slimy mess everywhere that has a boiling point of about 200 F.

Here's a good one I found on another message board I belong to. Pretty straight forward.

He seemed to have forgotten the parts about grinding part of the rear master cylinder off, and 3 different stores to find those stupid cable holders in the pic. Oh yeah, and the part about taking all the front and side fairings off so you can get at the factory lines/bracketshttp://eugenesportbike.com/forum/images/smilies/newsmilies/thinking.gifhttp://eugenesportbike.com/forum/images/smilies/newsmilies/lol.gif
