Are you taking the new bike Tom? If so, why swap (nice word usage by the way) the brake liquids? Is there something more I need to know before I get my shot this summer?

it's always a good idea to change your brake fluid at least once a year
if you are running at higher speeds more often then it never hurts to change /bleed the brakes i do my track bike about 4-5 times a year change it
now that i'll be racing i'll do it probably every 3 running days i change my oil and filter every other time i run it at the track but this is my bike i use only for the race track my street bike i do 3 times a year brake fluid and 3 months or 3 thousand miles oil
and i'll be there for 21st 22nd and the 24th is for sponsored riders only weeeeeeeeee:rad: :rad: :hump :hump
cant wait to see ride with you all

It will be a while till the R6 is broken in. Plus I have no plans to track the R6, until I can honestly say that I have topped out the potencial of the Thundercat, and that shouldn't be for a while.
Eric nailed it down on the fluid swapping. I am running a high"er" temp brake fluid, but I still seem to be boiling it. By the end of the day my brakes are always getting more than a bit skwooshi. :yell:
Can't wait to ride with you guys! :rad: :victory-s :ride:

The YZF600R is a lot easier to ride on the track. Beware, the R6 is very touchy when it comes to suspension setup. I had it professionally set up at the t-hill trackday in Feb, and it took 3 trips to make it comfortable for me. The front end gets really nervous coming out of slow corners unless it's setup correctly. It took me till the second to last session of the day to match my best time on the YZF. Then the R6 shows it's worth. Rev the $hit out of it and it makes good time. Those 12,000 RPM corner exits sure are loud though. I now know what earplugs are made for. I need the start wearing them.
