Someone gave me the bird today.

Today I was going to work and I wave to this guy and he gave me the bird. I was like, wtf did I do? He was wearing a half felmet with a tinted face sheild and dress it black leather jacket. Couldn't make out what he was riding, due to fact that I was shocked. I know he wasn't on a sport bike, but I didn't care I wave to be nice.

Anyone had a samilar experience?

I did wave with my right hand does it mean something else in the motorcycle community?

Man, sorry that he flipped the feathered friend at ya. That majorly sux. Maybe he was just jealous that he wasn't on a sportbike.

Yeah I thought about that, but can someone get that pissed of just because of jealousy?

couldn't stop thinking about it at work. Got me thinking about not waving to anyone except on sportbikes.

Yea, Ive found over my years of riding that the mentallity between the "Hard core Harley" and the "Rice burning Crotch Rocket" owners is changing for the better. But not everyone in the world is a nice guy. let it go man. keep waving to everyone on two wheels. Dont let it get to ya. :thumbup:

Sometimes when we are out and about, not everyone waves. I try to wave at everyone I see. Sometimes, tho, my vision is obscured, especially when we are at speed, and I am tucked behind Mike... :ride:



Way back when I was a little girl, riding with my stepdad, EVERYONE waved...

Yeah I guess your right. The fact that he is ignorant enough to flip someone that he doesn't even know or hasn't done anything to him, just pisses me off. Its like he's blaming me for something that I didn't do.

I remember like 4 years ago, before I was riding, everyone on bikes wave at each other too. Now its like "your not on this bike so I'm not going to acknowledge you".
