Sooo today I decided to go for a ride when the weather broke. I had a great ride for a while. lol. Even did my first wheelie! Well about 2 miles from home it started hailing BAD. Even cracked the darn vent on the top of my helmet! Just wanted to share. What a ride though. Hopefully no more hail experiences for me anytime soon. lol. :yes:

Hey were you on I5 heading south out of Salem around 730pm today? Saw a bike go by in the ice right after I was rear ended by another car. My van is not to messed up but the hail came out of nowhere.

Sounds like a rare day indeed! Hope you're both OK.

I was in Oklahoma many years ago and got caught by GOLF BALL sized hail. Dented the tank and bruised me pretty good. Good story with that.

Nope, not me. I was on I-5 though. Just north of Roseburg. :)

Sounds like a rare day indeed! Hope you're both OK.

I have blue/white jacket with a white helmet. :) And I was just South of Sutherlin. I think Im gonna go for a ride today at about 2 or 3. Not too sure where Im gonna go though. Roads are probably still pretty slick. Maybe out 138 or something. Anyways, talk to you soon.

hehehe.. i got caught in the hail too... funny the things are so small but sting so huge. i definately rolled off on the speed.. this is about the fourth time ive hit hail and id have to say that even though it doesnt usually last all that long, it probably sucks the hardest. ill take sub-freezing temp any day.

haha yeah. I bought it used so Im wondering if there was already a small crack I didnt notice and maybe it just made it worse.....
