Hey, I'm looking for a good set of frame sliders for my 2005 SV 650. Does anyone have suggestions on where I can find some, and info on good/bad brands or components?

I don't think the brand is near as important as the design. The kit should use engine mounts (where the engine mounts to the frame), use bolts that are the same size in diameter or larger than the ones they are replacing (and of course, be made of a quality metal - again, hopefully the same material as the ones they replace), etc. I personally go for the all Delrin (high molecular weight plastic) as opposed to those with metal caps, but that's more of a personal thing that a performance thing (I thought sparks near my legs & potentially leaking gas MIGHT be a bad thing).

 VERY good point Xusia! How do you feel about the carbon fiber sliders?

Personally, I'm afraid they wouldn't hold up as well as Delrin. But then again, what do I know!?!
