After I came to the realization that I never really ride anywhere that requires directions, I'm giving up the gadget.
The Garmin Quest is a portable gps navigation divice thats perfect for motorcycle use. It's water resistant (rain won't kill it) & has an anti glare coating on the screen. (so you can see it in the sun) The unit will do auto routing, turn by turn, route tracking, and also features a speedo thats pretty accurate. I am also including the RAM handlebar mount for it.
$200.00 will make it yours. You guys have first pick, then I'll put it up on Craig's list. If you wan't to se it in person, I can bring it to Bike Night.
If you want to see a picture of it on the bike clickity click here...

I'm open to any reasonable offer, just keep in mind that it is a good deal. The only gadget I really need up in my dash is anti speed detection:yes:

Bring it to bike night tomorrow and I'll have a look. I want a GPS, but I was trying to stick with a touch screen. I'll just have to see what I think about how it works...

Sounds good. If you want, I can let you take my bike for a spin so you can get a feel for unit works while riding the bike.

That's very generous, but I don't think it will be necessary! :)

It was a great little unit. Completely portable with a 20 hour battery life, and waterproof. The only drawback I can think if is the memory storage. I was able to load up every road from Seattle to Los Angeles, which I think is plenty, but some of the newer models can store just a ton more.
