Finally made my way back to the forum this year. Hope to get out there and ride with you sometime.

Here's how my bike sat last month. Different pipes now, plus a few other little things, but basically that's how it looks.

Nice!! I've always like the v-rod based series. one of the best moves Harley made in my opinion

Out of all the cruisers, that's the way to go. I like the all black.:rad:

Thanks everyone.

A 260 rear tire isn't wide is it?

I've got quite a few more things to black out, got a new all black ceramic coated exhaust coming...Few other things. It's a work in progress.

As far as fast, no. Not in the sense that you guys probably deal with. It's about 115 RWHP, so it's fairly fast in a straight line. Ear to ear grin fast, kind of like a drag racer, but you don't have to worry about popping wheelies unless you really want to.

Obviously with the 260 rear, long wheelbase, and low lean angle it doesn't corner anything like a sport bike would. So, as long as I caught an underpowered rookie sport bike rider napping on a straight stretch, I could totally take him! :)

Hey Pete, you're north of Eugene. I'm in Harrisburg, so not that far!

Jeff,

Love the look of the bike. What exhaust is that? Looks similar to my cfr. We need to go cruising sometime and wake some people up lol.

GlennDefinitely could wake someone up with the two of them! :)

Let me know if you want to go riding sometime!

It's a Bub 7, which is new for the V-Rod's. It started life chrome, but I had it ceramic coated black except the tip. It's a touch quieter than your CFR I think, but has a mean growl.

American bikes aren't allowed to look that sexy. Way to go, good look.

I have not been able to fill out my profile due to error message, but here is a pic of the other v-rod on the forum lol. Can't quite see the scrapes I put on the bottom of the pipe trying to keep up with Bobby on some of those corners on 36. :rad:

Nice Glenn. Is that the internals of a DX headlight??

Oh, and click this link to work on your profile. Not sure why the User CP button doesn't work.

Thanks for the link. That is just my D headlight without the shroud around it. Thought I would take it off to see how I liked the look. Might stick it back on as it is a nice place to stuff my hat into when riding lol.

Seems cleaner to me, although if it came with an A headlight, I would have swapped it out for the shrouded one! :)

I like the looks of the A light but would have to find one in chrome lol. I really do miss that spot to stow my ballcap. Sucks that my ride has less storage than most if not all sportbikes lol.

If you are going to keep up with some of these guys you might look into the superbrace as well. Made a big difference in the front end when I put mine on. One of the few "functional" mods I have done

Looks good man!!! I atually looked into a cruiser for a second bike to keep me out of trouble ( ya, right) and something along that line would do it...sence Im a yamaha fan the warrior striked my fancy, even a VN900, not near the power but a good fit and I like the 21' front wheel. Anyway- great looken ride man:thumbup:

I looks at the street bob HD before I bought my Buell. The V Rod is pretty sweet, but I just can't love it. Personal preferences and all. Yours is a pretty machine though, and I would ride next to it...LOL

I will be putting exhaust on the Buell in a couple of months, then it should sound like a 1200 sporty with an attitude. I just love the looks I get when I roll the throttle and the V twin bellows...It will never have the sound of yours, but at least we are family..LOL
