View Full Version : Does anyone have a Carbtune?

I could really use the chance to get my hands on a Carbtune or similiar product for about half an hour. I haven't been able to get my SV's throttle-bodies synched well for weeks, for some reason my homebrew kit which worked great for the first synch has essentially just stopped working.

If anyone has the tool, I would appreciate it if you could let me use it. I wouldn't even need to leave your place, I could roll up and do the whole thing in your driveway/curb and be out of your hair before you even noticed. I'm at the point now where I can get everything setup to do the check in a matter of minutes.

Thanks!

I know this is a pretty late reply to your post, and you probably have it done by now, but I do have a set of Carb Stix you're welcome to use. They're low on mercury, though, as some got spilled during the move (please don't tell the DEQ, EPA, etc.) so you'd have to score a few cc's of it.

I'm also looking for either a carbtune or similar method to get these Mikunis synch'ed.

If anyone has one to loan I'm trust-worthy. I need to get this thing on the road.
Thanks!

PM me; you're welcome to use my Carb Stix or bring it out and we'll do it here. I still need to get as little mercury for them, though. Lemme know!

Lemme know!On second thought I think I'm just going to have CP check the jetting and balance during at the same time as the valve adjust and front tire replacement.
Thanks though!
