Looking for a conversion...

So i just purchased on 05 f4i about a month ago and im looking to convert it from a single seat to a double seat like a cbr rr would be and i cant find anything about it on the net. any ideas?

I don't want to sound coy, but why?!? A single seat is usually more comfortable.

Assuming you are determined to do it, I would think you would need to replace the tail section plastics with those from an earlier model that has 2 seats, then get the 2 seats. You might also need to replace the latching mechanisms. Of course, this might not even be possible if the appropriate attachment points are different...

Sub frame might not be desigened for the extra weight - should probably check on that too. Anything is possible, thugh, with enough work and time.

You know, replacing the whole sub-frame, plastics and all, is probably the easiest way to do it.

they sell a cowl that goes over the rear seat part to make it look like a solo

i had a 99 f4 that had a corbin seat on ot . the back seat had color match flame job on it . looked alot like a solo seat w a coul but way comfy !! just a tought ...
