Well, I'm looking to head to my trip to Nevada. Going to head to Spring Mountain Raceway on November 1 & 2. The track provider is Socal. www.socaltrackdays.com (http://www.socaltrackdays.com), Check it out, they have a track preview. I went last year and had a blast. Open sessions. The track goes hot at 9:00 am and is open, unlimited riding until lunch, the after lunch, the same thing open track. you can ride as much as you want.

I'm headed down, it looks like Eric is going. Lets make a trip. It's 40 min from Vegas. Right up blue Diamond Highway. The track is secure and you just drop off you equipment and go to Vegas for the night. I did this last year and had a blast, took in a comedy show and other events in Vegas and rode all day long. Send me a message if your interested. I'll pull a trailer and have room for three other bikes besides mine. :rad:

Holy crap. I moved to Eugene from Pahrump 8 yrs ago. My parents just came up here 2 yrs ago and I still have a brother there. I have never heard of this place, and would love to look into it more. If they are still around next year, I think we should make it a nice big trip down there.

Yes you will be fine. There are people out there a LOT slower then you and on smaller bikes. What they mean by experience is not to get spooked and to maintain your line....

COOL! Then I think I should buy the tickets now so that something doesn't "come up" in between now and then like it always does! :rad:

Actually, my wife is hella cool. any chance I don't go would be more related to work and school

I need to know if any of you are really going. I was just told I should put this trip on hold, wife is going to Israel in September and she doesn't want to spend the money for airfare that soon after that trip. She asked if I could put the trip off until next year. I don't want to, but if I'm the only one going I might. If there are some people going, then I'll swing it. No hotel, just stay at the track and ride. I need to know so I can get the motor-home out of storage and set it up at the track. It sleeps 4 very comfortably. Let me know.

The dates for the track day are Nov 1 & 2. I'll leave Oct. 30 and drive non-stop. Get in Vegas on Oct 31 and get the Motor-home and then bring it back to the track. After the track day, I have to take the home back and then leave. If I drive by myself it takes two days (16 hour drive) But if I have someone share the duties, it's just 16 hours there and back. And it looks like the wife is not going so I can drive fast....and yes no one has spoken up, so there is room on the trailer. Call me 541-430-7531

Joe, at this time I can't make any promises. sorry :o I don't get my bonus until mid october and I don't even know if I can get the time off. So if it's just me then please don't plan according to my availability as I won't even know that for another week or so. If you do find yourself going then I'd like to tag along provided you have room. I would gladly help pay for gas, but until then I can't say anything for sure. again, sorry. I'll call you in a couple of weeks and talk to you more about going if I don't announce your plans by then. thanks,

-Dan
