that road is a blast but should'nt be ridden on anything bigger than a 250

talk to mikeG today, he's sore but sounds in good spirits.
going under the knife Thursday for one of the hands.
he got some insurance to cover the med bills but the ride to the hospital and getting his bike out of impound might be a hard pill to swallow, that and losing a couple of gigs$$$.

mike has a pay pal acct. so if you can throw a buck or two his way to help ease the pain, zrx 1200 parts would help too.

i'll kick it off with 10 bucks and a shoei helmet to replace the one that gave its live so mike could keep his smile. :yes:

I go for surgery on my right hand tomorrow, looks like I'm not gonna be riding or playing guitar for awhile, but as others have said it coulda been much worse. Glad I was all leathered-up :thumbup:

Some good news! I didn't have to have surgery today, the break is very clean, the bones are in good alignment and the tendons are all attached so they fitted me with a plastic thingy to hold the thumb and it should heal up fine on it's own. :thumbup:

I'm keeping this short because I'm very tired and sore but wanted to share alittle good news with y'all. :thumbup:

Update: It's been 10 months since I crashed, I've returned to riding (at least my little 2-stroke bikes) my pain level has subsided quite a bit so I'm off any pain meds, my broken thumb has healed up pretty well so I'm doin' a lot better.
I ruptured my right bicep and denervated my deltoid, so my right shoulder is fairly weak and unstable, but I'm still here and ornery as ever. :rad:

so alreadt this season there have been many various get offs, fall offs, thrown the thing down.. so many more it seems than usual. and deaths?? several gnarly ones, both rider and others fault. its only MAY!!

As for my bike its going to look amazing! Tank got a lot of paint this week end took 2 days just on the base coat. now for the clear!:thumbup: and if my four gromits come in by Thursday I will be riding to bike night! :victory-s
