Long story short... I didnt make it into work today. I was coming down bailey hill road then turned onto west 7th street. I go this way every day.. anyway, this morning I hit a slick spot?? or what ever it was and my front tire washed out... dont remember how everything went but the bike went down to the right, then I think the frame slider kicked it back over to the left side and bucked me off into the rough as hell aka cheese grader grade asphalt. my bike then hopped from the left side back the the right side to land half in the street and half on the sidewalk. I was wearing all my gear, [ boots, gloves, jacket, had on my work jeans that tore ] Saved my skinn but I only got a little bit of road rash on my leg and my fore arm. A guy pulled over to help me out...haha while I was in my tantrum of taking my gloves off and throwing them into the ground just cussing and picking them back up to throw them at my bike agian. When I was done with my fit throwing, h walked over and helped me pick up my bike and put it on the sidewalk. Thank you so much sir for pulling over and helping me out! I owe you one.
Then I was on my phone calling my fiance to let her know I crashed. She came down and helped me out then we pushed the bike back home since it was only a few blocks from our place.... Got some funny facial expressions from pushing my wrecked bike down the side walk on west 11th. hahaha.

Im ok...just sore, my bike is a mess but will be back together and riding by next summer or sooner. New color, new body, its going to look great!!!

We took alot of pictures... so here they are. Click on the picture for the Slide show.

damn will, that sucks! so much for "ride to work day"!! glad you had on your gear, that could have been pretty bad for you (judging by the condition of the gsxr)

oh, and my rear brake is also bent to shit from dropping the bike... never broke, just bent straight up. i never bothered to fix it.

That really sucks, you did walk away though and that is great. I can see you patching her back together and abel to ride in a few weeks to a month. Unless like me you are too vain and will not ride with the scratches. That is why all my plastics are at the painter..LOL

Good luck on getting her back on the road.
