I lit out this afternoon on an impromptu ride up Fall Creek to scuff in the new Michelins. The road is in great shape; just a few damp spots above the lake, most likely from the recent rain. Came down through Lowell, then up Lost Creek rd. to the end of pavement (hadn't been up there since oh, about 1979) and back down Rattlesnake rd. (ditto 1979) to 58. Then Enterprise rd. past my old school (P-Hill), then Rodgers rd. to Cloverdale, into Creswell then over Hamm rd., then Territorial on home to Elmira. Note: It was all good except the following: There is new chip seal on Territorial between Crow and about 4 mi. south, but it's been brushed. There is also new chip seal between Crow and Fleck rd. on the south end of Veneta, but it hasn't been brushed; big gravel berms anywhere outside the wheel tracks. Well at least they seemed big on a bike.

:ride: We went out to Fall Creek today and what a great day.

We rode about 2 miles beyond the "Bed Rock" camp grounds and played in the water.

The roads were in pretty good shape for the most part. There are some large debris spots where trees have been on the road but they were easily seen and avoided.

I recommend this one for a picnic or easy country ride. ENJOY!
