Sooo I was out for a ride today, not doing anything out of the ordinary. I was going around a corner when SMACK I get hit in the knee. I then see a blue thing go flying behind me. I pull over immidiatly and realize that my left upper and lower fairings had flown off. All the bolts and screws were still attached along with 1/2 dollar bits of my fairings. So fairings are trash now. :( I had to have Zack and Jesse go back to town and get me some zip ties so we could put them back on to finish my ride. Thanks to Jason from the coast with the other ninja I have a lower fairing now. I have to get the upper now and then have it all painted, AGAIN. :mecry: Its ok though, it could of been worse. Im just happy that the boys behind me didnt hit it. That would of been really bad. Anyways, just wanted to share my sad news.

Sorry to hear that about your plastics, was a nice paint job too. Just go mat black and chrome like 1 of the other riders no more worrying about being pretty :P

Wow glad your okay, That must have been a pretty fast wind there....was your landing gear still down? maybe it got stuck???sometimes that happens, I've seen it in movies...lol.. Anyways , sorry to hear about your bike, that really sucks...

I would of seen something if I hit anything. I was in a corner when it happened. Im not the one who put my fairings on after it got painted. It may of just been a bit off and caught wind in just the right spot. Then good bye plastics.

Glad your ok. Huge bummer about the bike tho. If were me, I would have pulled over to bawl. I don't like it when my bike gets hurt. Thankfully, my new one hasn't been yet.

Yeah I felt like crying at first.. lol. But it wasnt my fault or anyone elses. Just a strange fluke I guess. Couldnt help but laugh. Now though Im super bummed.
