Mason (Flying Hawiian) and I went up last sunday with my brother and another friend. we had an awesome time:thumbup:. the road is perfect on the cougar resivour side for about 20 miles of great twisties.:victory-s then about 8 miles of bumpy straight stetches, followed by ok corners for about 20 more miles. we are planning on going again on this sunday 8/13. we will meet either at the shell station on 11th and green hill because it is the closest to our houses, or again at another pedetermined location yet to be named. Let us know if you are intrested (anyone) and we will work out the details before then. we will probably leave noonish, moderate pace (for us, you go as you see fit) newbies welcome, as we all wait up every couple miles for the group to collect. Last time was pure fun and about 4 hrs. see you there!:clapping:

Trons got the 929 up and running!!! :clapping: Come along for the ride!
I just hope someone slow is comming that I can ride with.
I'm not that fast, in fact, lately I've been very mellow on public roads. The 929 allows me to not slow down as much on the turns, compared to my VFR... Still gotta watch out for traffic, pedestrians, debris, and critters on the road.

come one, come all. We keep it at about 60% of our max pace. If nobody has any objections, Mason and I could meet everybody at the Texaco on Highway 58 just out past goshen. it's the first gas station on 58.:bounce:
-as long as that is cool with you mason.
Just head south on I-5. Take the first exit past LCC, the goshen / 58 exit. stay left when the road splits at the exit. follow the highway to west towards oakridge about 3 miles. there will be a Texaco on the right hand side, just past the bridge. meet say about 12:30 ish. If you don't make it or get lost, just follow the highway to oakridge and we will stop at the shell station in town, cause my RC is a gas freakin hog  I only get 30 miles a gallon and have to gas up before we go over to the other side. or, call me and we will wait (as long as your not too far behind) num. is 556-9374

Oh hell, I'll putt along with you, Mike. Never ridden 100 miles in 3rd gear before! :D :mooning:
Actually, I was thinking just a few days ago, about taking that ride. I may try to make it Sunday. I think I'll be the slow one, though. Hopin' to have my training wheels off by then. :ride:

A couple of us are going to do Aufterheide tomorrow, if anyone wants to go Saturday instead... (I will be in Roseburg/Sutherlin riding on Sunday, otherwise I would go then). We will be rolling out between 10-11am. The guy I am riding with is riding over 200 miles (one way) to get here... to ride. He must be even crazier than I am.

This is great! looking to be a good group, so the plan is solid. Mason, myself, and R-666 will meet at the shell station at noon with anybody else who lives in west Eugene. we will then meet the rest of the group between 12:30 and 1 at the Texaco on 58 in my previous directions. See ya all there!:ride:

It was a great day, no one seemed to be going beyond their riding limits, and we had a good mellow pace! Thanks Dan for setting up this ride!
