So today Zack, our buddy Jesse and I went for a local ride. We were just heading out of town and I was in front. I kicked it up quite a bit to hit a 25 mph corner and as I came out I checked my mirrors and the great ol' blue and red were right behind us. I pulled over and Zack and Jesse kept going. I got off my bike and he got out of the car. I asked if he wanted my license and he told me " Nope, just waiting to see what they're gonna do." Zack and Jesse had stopped up the road but didnt come back, so he went after them. He made sure to tell me to stay put and not move though that he'd be back. So down I sat and called Billy.... lol. He came back about 15 minutes later lights on again then stopped by me and said, " I gave them both tickets, but because you stopped I'm gonna let you go, slow down in town, have fun and be careful on that bike" I said "yes sir, thanks" I caught up with Zack and Jesse down the road and obviously talked about what happened. I got darn lucky I have mirrors that work. Darn those pig spotters... lol Zack may of gotten off too if he would of seen him in time. Eh, who knows. That was our exciting afternoon.

where were you? and who pulled you over... city/state/county?? what were the tickets for and how much $ are they gonna cost the guys? good on ya for pulling off right away. when ive broke the law i put my hand up and acknowledge that ive been got and i pull over just as soon as i can just so that theres no question to my intentions. i wonder why they just went around you when you pulled over????

We were stopped, by Roseburg PD, Officer Harvey, Westbound on Harvard avenue, Just on the otherside of the Harvard movie theatre. The Corner was the 25 at the end of Harvard, where it turns into Old Melrose.
By 'kicked it up' I don't know about her but i sped up to about 45 as i fell into the turn and came out close to 70.....

Melssa Pulled over to the side, I thought just moving for me to pass her. I did a quick head check and saw Jesse behind me. I prepped myself for the next turn and did another quick head check, where I saw the Red and Blues with no one behind me.. I thought to myself "Sh!t, I bet he thinks I'm running", so I pulled over to the edge of the road and flipped around. I met with Jesse about 50 yds in front of Melissa and the officer, and asked what happened. I was just about to ride down to Melissa when He came flyin up. He was pissed off at me for not stopping immediately. I explained that I hadn't seen him until I did a second headcheck. He was quite reluctant to believe me. He didn't radar us, he paced us. He said he was doing 60mph to catch up and we were "walking away from him." Jesse refused to believe we were going that fast and let the officer know that he disagreed with him, then conceded defeat.
Officer Harvey offered to write us for 75 then decided to be Generous and wrote us for 50mph in a 35mph zone. Had he written 75, I would've fought the ticket, but 50 is fair. Zack and Jesse Base fine: $145.00
Melissa Base fine: $0.00 Just shook a finger at her....

i'm sure it doesnt hurt that melissa is a pretty young girl on a good lookin' bike :) i know thats always helped me out... :yes:

melissa mentioned pigspotters. would you have seen him had your mirrors been stock or that wouldnt have matered? jesse didint see the officer either for following you?? ..........i wonder how they pace you. how accurate is that? like is there a formula for that or what? anyways.. glad the $ wasnt worse.

Yeah, if he would of had his stock mirriors he probably would of seen him. Those pig spotters you can kind of see color... lol They dont work for much of anything. Just look good.
