Yeah he's fine. Got pretty lucky. He wasnt on his bike though. He was on Joe Joe's... aka Grampa Joe Joe on here. He borrowed a helmet from someone and is now back on the track with his bike.

Zack's gear faired really well, the funny part was all the grass sticking out of his knee sliders... we got a pic of that. The bike, well, lots of fiber glass damage, but only a few hard parts here and there got busted up....... nothing money and time won't fix!

The were a couple of reason for the lowside. The track was cold, below 70-. Tires were a little worn, had two races - one track day - and three practices. Unfamilure bike - and just some bad luck. The bike will be OK. I hope Zack will be, it looks like he might of broke his left index finger medicarple. The bike will need minor surjury, a couple of hard parts, right clip-on, faring stay, tharottle assembly, brake lever, brake purch for the master cylinder, brake lines, slider, some fasteners, upper faring, lower fairing, tank cover, windscreen and some bondo/fiberglass and paint. Need to work on the radiator, the filler inlet was bent. besides that some spit and polish. It will be back up in not time. I'll post some before and after pics when I start working on it.

I got a pretty good pic of the grass wedged into the bike.

Isn't there an old myth with race car drivers that orange is a bad luck color?

Too bad about the finger Zack. Good you'll be ok though.
