thumb wipe....
at speed turn slightly to the right and left to blow it off....
learn to look through it....
left palm across the thing to wip the water off....
there are those little head umbrellas that you can fix to your helmet to try.... ;)
head up eyes ahead!! safe miles.

I have used Rain-x. Haven't tried Lemon Pledge, lol. Rain-x is good for when it's dark and rainy. I know this. :(

I'm a big fan of the gloves that come with a wiper blade on the thumb. That an Jennifer's idea. I've road through several winters and here is what I have found works.
Gortex pants --- I use old army issue. work fine.
-- cold sack is sad sack
Good water proof jacket, like cortech or aero stitch.
- cheap alternative is your riding jacket with old gortex cover
Water proof gloves with wiper --- I've only used joe rocket. worked just fine
Water proof boots --- any brand. cold feet is bad
Any sweater or fleece that can be worn under neath and can zip up the neck. A lot of warmth is lost in the neck.
Grip warmers. GRIP WARMERS!!! 60$ is the best investment you will make in winter riding gear, other then a set of good tires. -Trust me on this- warm hands, warm sack, happy Jack.:ride:

I'm so ghetto... I just have one hand semi attached to me visor while I ride in the rain. It functions as a wiper, and no I don't have fancy gloves.:D

use original pledge in the spary bottle and on the front of your bike. its a bug and water deflector:thumbup:
A plain bar of soap. Puts waterproof/anti fog coating on there that acts just like the coating on the fancy visors that claim they are water repellent/anti fog. Just like those coatings though it's good to redo it once a month or so depending on how hard you scrub it when you're taking the bugs off. lol

You can always try my strategy: wimp out and stay home unless it's dry and at least 60 F out!
