I went and flew for a bit yesterday, and accross the street from the airport I fly from is Evergreen aviation museum. Apparently the "Spruce Goose" is housed there now. I havent seen goose since I was a kid when it was kept in Long Beach California, so I went over to check it out. If anyone is an aviation buff, that museum is the place to go! Its a VERY nice facillity! Anyway, I took a couple pics while I was there, and thought Id share...

Hey Mike, if you ever get bored you could teach me how to fly. I have mastered the taking off part, but the landing part is still kinda ruff on my legs. At least whenever I takeoff from the roof of my house.:bounce:

Are you getting your pilot's license or something Mike? Or do you already have it and are just flying for fun?

Im currently rated as a Commercial pilot, multi-engine, wiith a few other endorsments. Im just putting in flight hours so that I have enough total hours built up for someone to hire me as a commercial pilot somewhere. Anyone looking for a good pilot?

Tom, Give me a few more months and I will have my CFI endorsment, (Certified Flight Instructor) and be able to teach you how to slam an aircraft onto the runway properly.

He was teaching me on the flight simulator program on the pc, and by gummy, I can slam that plane down with the best of them. I also fly like a drunken sailor. I literally bounced the plane off the runway and back up into the air. I was laughing so hard, I couldn't fly.

You sure you don't want me to teach ya?
