You should place a craigslist ad to let people know it has been stolen. Also you could offer a reward for information leading to the return of the bike.

Out of sight, out of mind is my motto. The only bike I had stolen was in view most of the time and I guess the temptation was just too much for the ass wipe.............
Sorry to hear this and I hope you recover it in one peice.

Sheeeeet  Sorry to hear. I always worry about my bike too- I just always hoped Eugene was too small of a community. Did you have it locked? Steering column locked? Disk Locked? From the picture it looks like you may live in an apartment complex - those places are breeding/hunting grounds for theifs. I'll keep my eyes out as well :soapbox:

i had 2 disc locks on it, 1 front 1 rear. i live off country club road. it was hiding between 2 cars under a covered parking spot. i think i know where its at but its prolly in pieces by know. a guy went to eugene lock and safe yesterday asking if he could have a key cut of an 08 cbr so the guy at the lock place called cycle sports(where i work) and we told him we need the vin and the first helf he gave us the same but he was missing 2 numbers and the rest was made up.so we called the lock smith back and told him what goin on and he told the guy to just bring the ignition in. so i took my key down there and if the a**hole is as dumb as i think he'll bring it in and if my key turns it there gonna drag out the prossess and call the 5-0. the retard also broke part of the fairing and left it on the ground so i gave it to the cop to finger print. :yell: :censored: :yell: :bash: :yell: :idunno: :pooped:

... i gave it to the cop to finger print.Sadly they won't, not that they don't care, but just no man power. The Eugene police will not investigate a property crime that does not have a named suspect, preferably in custody. Things are just http://eugenesportbike.com/forum/images/smilies/newsmilies/censored.gif ing out of hand.
...Sad thing is he would probably get matrix out of jail within 24 hours.
Even worse than that, due to budget issues, he will not be prosecuted for the crime.
I hope they nail his nutz to the wall with a nail gun. Stoopid bastard needs to get a life... Couldn't agree more! http://eugenesportbike.com/forum/images/smilies/newsmilies/yell.gif
...I hope you get your baby back in relatively one piece.Your best bet of doing that, is to get it back yourself. (If you have insurance, take the check and cut your losses. If not, you can see where I am going with this...)
I would like to see the DA start publishing the addresses of the homes of these people. How would they like it, if all of their stuff got taken? http://eugenesportbike.com/forum/images/smilies/nutkick.gif

the problem with my insurance is that they didnt put full coverage on it like they were supposed to so when i went in there to file the report i had to yell and cuss at the jacka**! If it doesnt work with the insurance im take that whole branch to court and maybe even all of state farm. if the cops dont do anything by saturday im goin to become the new sherriff in town and my deputies are goin to be luie and mossberg. they specialize in breaking knee caps and putting wholes in things that shouldnt have wholes in them. if anyone has an oregon sportbike account please post it up on there too:sad:

BALSITIS600RR

he gave me the adress the guy gave him so i went and checked it out before i took him my key for the ingnition and there was an older burgundy or purple crystler van in the driveway. i told the locksmith about the van and he asked if it was an older crystler van that was purplish in color. and i said ya and was all "i think i saw that van here earlier today". i didnt even have to tell the locksmith what kind of van is was or color and he hit it on the dot.:clapping:

BALSITIS600RR
12-04-2008, 09:37 PM
that they cant go in to the house to see if its there or not cuz that would be breakin the dudes civil rights. they need probable coz to look inside the f**king place. even tho i gave a name, adress, and lisence plate off the van. so im goin tomarrow night to check it again and see if i can see anything inside or a window is open or something cuz everytime i go there all the blinds are shut.

that they cant go in to the house to see if its there or not cuz that would be breakin the dudes civil rights. they need probable coz to look inside the f**king place...I am going to say this as tactfully as I can...
Police do not need a warrant to enter a home, if they have probable cause to believe a crime is being committed, or has recently been committed, at the location.
So, if you were to observe something occurring at the location in question, that appeared to be a crime, as a concerned citizen, you could anonymously notify the police of the possible crime. If the police arrive on scene, and find a probable crime scene (broken down door, etc.), or if the anonymous call reported suspicious activity (screaming, gun shots, etc.), the police will have probable cause to enter the residence, in order to secure the scene and/or perform a welfare check on all occupants of the dwelling...
But keep in mind, the bike might not even be stored at this location.

Best luck getting your ride back.

i seen you mentioned it in another thread, when stuff like this happens let us know as soon as possible so we can be on the look out.
ask for serial number on the engine (with pic) and do the same with the frame if you find one for sale.
sorry to hear your baby was stolen, hope you get her back.

So whats the address on the house.. so people if they are in the area can ride by honk or let them hear us rev our bikes up as we pass there house... just a thought...

the whole neighborhood would love that. i know someones bike got stolen and it surely would suck but this is a innocent until proven guilty kinda country and stalking a house that may or may not be involved(either way), honking and making other noise is a good way to make a theft get outta hand and some folks could end up hurt. just a thought....
it sucks to have something stolen but his insurance will help him to get a new bike. maybe not the same thing but its just stuff.. what does our local law enforcement think? mike?? joe??
and also, the bike "had 2 disc locks on it, 1 front 1 rear. it was hiding between 2 cars under a covered parking spot"......is it possible that someone had a matched key for these things? how hard are they to knock off? most thefts are crimes of opprotuntiy and this seems like someone was prepared... its unfortunate that there are so many asses out there...
BALSITIS600RR
12-10-2008, 08:35 PM
i had the kryptonite disc locks with have there one keys for each lock.(ive tried to use the key inthe wrong lock and it wouldnt work) the bike keys are the same way. they had to have been scoping it out for awhile cuz i got to work at 3 in the morning. me anf my friend checked out the house and theres nothing that resembles a bike there.

some buddies went to laughlin and saw these big guys get out of a truck and two in the front, two in the back, ran this pipe thing through the front and bakc of the bike and lift it like it was a toy into the balc of their truck and drive off in no time at all. this was a big ass brick harley too... for shame!!!!!!
