tis the season for toy runs

hey all!! so we know what time of year it is and another toy run will be this saturday starting at peggys at rice hill at 9 heading to yoncalla back through oakland to bimart ending at the fire station. all stops are to pick up toys. scuttlebutt is that there will be some esb folks(a chick, a super hero and a former sportbike turned fatboy and maybe even an officer of the law...maybe...)... anyways.. blah blah blah all the usual stuff. this info is what ive heard. also... i believe next weekend is the south county run.fwiw.

ok... it looks like roll out from peggys will be at 10am.. still gonna be ass cold but, as it is. im probably gonna go string for the thing.. either way tomorrow is gonna be a riding day.

well the ride was a success, as they all are. there were 40 or 50 bikes and a trike on top. tlr mike was there with his black and white four wheeler. there was a chick on a ninja(but not ninjachick) and i didnt see any super heros either... i must say that it was just a tiny bit cold to get started this morning, at 33.4 degrees. by noon it had warmed to an almost summer-like 45 degrees with crystal clear blue skies.
at one of the stops, a guy with three or eight kids walked right next to me and said to the kids, "look at the bikes , not the rice" and looked right at me and then said "o sorry" so i asked him what kind of bike he rode and he goes "uh...uh...uh...it was stolen a couple of years ago" i said...."for shame"... hehe.. anyways.
tis the season for toy runs... :)

Good to see you there... I will rope someone else into doing the cop car thing and ride next year. I got the GSX-R out this afternoon, and the TLR, after a bit on the charger..LOL... Was really nice... just UnderArmor and a T-Neck and I was fine... It got to 59 here today!!!! Jen, post up some pictures!
