Selling my bike asap.. Graffiti edition

Need to sale my bike need to make room for my baby boy.. i have done a few things to it and also throwing in a icon jacket and helmet.. 2008 cbr 600r graffiti edition its at work so if you wanna see come by need 8500 for it.. 2300 miles never down looks awesome..

You might want to reconsider your asking price. With the 09's rolling out you can buy the 08's in the mid $7k new. And all that aftermarket stuff or other "things" you've done usually don't increase the value.

Yeah the 09 are like 9700 and mine is the graffiti edition so its kinda rare and there isnt another one in town that i have seen so far. Iam also throwing my icon jacket and helmet in the deal. I check online and other sites and people are selling them for 8 to 9000 so iam just tryin to get what i need out of it. Just need 4 wheels and seatbelts.. Thanks for the advice..

Just trying to offer some advice, if you think you can get $8500 stick to it. I simply pointed out to you that the dealer will easily sell a brand new 08 for well under $8k and that if I was buying I would almost pay you to keep a used lid and jacket that doesn't fit me. That it's a graffiti edition makes it a narrower market to sell to.

Just because people are asking between 8 and 9k doesn't mean thay are getting it. If it was me I'd start @ $7500 and hope for an idiot.

Mayby you should keep your opinions to yourself. bringing a negetive side to everyones attention on a forum is abit disrespectful. If someone is trying to sell something, publicly shooting down the price could kill potential sale for someone.... you wouldnt want someone to do that to you so why would you do it to someone else?:thinking:

And Ron, thanks for the advice, too bad I won't be taking it. He said he NEEDS to sell it, if it's a need than you price to move, now if he WANTS to sell, then stick with the $8500 and sit on it until May or June. I'm not trying to kill his sale, I'm trying to help him get out from under the bike since it NEEDS to go. And most of the time I would have sent hima PM about it but since for some reason there is no option to PM him I'm kind of limited.

I was at a dealer today and saw a new 07 CBR for less then that. Once you get to the used market it's only worth what someone is willing to pay. If you're going to price high hope for someone that is......
