I am doing my first track day on Monday so I won't be riding this weekend, I'll be getting the bike track ready and hopefully putting some of the new mods on the bike. If you guys end up doing Auderheide without me again I am going to cry...:crying: :smilewink

The Aufy... Just a thought, the Jasper-Lowell Road from Springfield bypasses that long and slow 45mph straight stretch on Hwy 58. Turn right on the bridge in Lowell (Dexter Lake) and you're on Hwy 58.

Sure...now I have to cry...:mecry: ... Aufderheide without me again. We are planning on doing it on the weekend after labor day too, and having a BBQ/get together at my house..it's still in the planning stages, so no firm times yet. Crazymofo's coming down to ride and hang with us Eugenies that weekend. What day works better for people...Sat Sept 9th, or Sun the 10th?

We are meeting at the shell gas station on west 11th and green hill, it is about a mile or so west of Wal Mart, just take I-5 to beltline and it dead ends into west 11th, turn right and you will see all the bikes at the shell station if you get lost here is my cell: 513-6704:thumbup:

Take I-5 north to exit 194B. that will put you on hwy 126/105 going west.
Go over the bridge crossing the Willamette River and shortly thereafter it should turn into Jefferson St.
Turn Right on W.11th Ave and continue through Eugene.
You will pass our local Bike Night hang out called "Papa's Pizza" at the corner of Chambers and W.11th Ave. Keep going down W.11th Ave. aproximately 4.6 more miles from papa's pizza and you will see the Shell Gas Station on your right side at the corner of Green Hill Rd and W. 11th Ave.
Park your bike, take off your helmet, have a cold soda or water, and wait for the rest of the group to show up  .
Hope that helps and have a great ride!

Either day works for me. But for some reason it seems people tend to ride on Sunday versus Saturday... And a BBQ after the ride makes for an awesome day.

I pulled up at the Greenhill gas station to top off about 2:15. Get off the bike and as the kid comes up, I say, "Guess I missed um huh? I know Im about 2 hours late".

He says, "Yeah" and smiles.

I say, "I'll catch um".

He laughs.

uuuuhhhhhhhhhh......... nope. But I did catch a few bugs. Caught myself sweating my azz off at Gillespie Corners. Caught some rays. There were a few good "catches" walking the road. Caught a lot of wind, and even managed to catch up on a few good moves in the twisties. Before I knew it I caught myself rippin home.
