WIZARD OF WONDER

I know there's already a thread in the stunters area but thought, hey I put so much time and effort into typing all this, I'm going to make a seperate thread all my very own! So phuck phuzzy and his guide to running from the law. There's a new cat in town, fukkaz!! Read or die!
Well, now that all seriousness is out of the way, allow me to eradicate some of what I think is propaganda on this subject. First off, just because you run dosen't make you a bad person; and by who's standards anyways? It does however, make you a criminal but even then, not all criminals are bad people.
Anyways, if you are prepared and you're bike is prepared to run from the law, you stand a pretty good chance of getting away. Here's a little of what I've comprised.
1. Run only if you are full gear. ie, full leathers, good helmet, riding gloves and boots.
2. Run only if your bike is up to snuff. ie, plenty of gas, good tires, fresh oil, good lubed chain, and most important, brakes!
3. Run only if your bike is equiped with what it takes to get away without recognition. ie,
a. Have a license plate that is either easily removable or have some way to hide it.
b. Modify your bike's lighting to be able to be shut off in the instance of a night chace or if a day chase turns into night.
4. Run only if you are feeling good and in good health. You have to be able to think straight if you're going to get away.
5. Know the area. As stated above, cops probably know the area pretty good so you should to.
6. Lose sight of the cop as soon as you possibly can. The longer they can see you, the more the cops will close in on your position.
7. If you get to a place where you have to hide the bike and lay low, stay for as long as it takes (even over night) to get back home safely. All to often guys hide for a few minutes just to find the law waiting at the entrance of the road they just ran down. Figure on waiting 8 hours or so. Seriosly. If you want to risk a felony, just go ahead and see where they are. If you have acces to a cell phone, call a friend with an enclosed trailer, and have him rescue you. Your bike will be on the hot list for quite some time and the last thing you need is another chase trying to get home!
8. If and when you make it home, keep the bike there for several days or at least change the appearance enough so the law won't recognize it's your bike. ie, change the plastics, paint it a new color, etc...
9. Don't wear the same gear you had to run in! Cops have a good memory and so do the rest of his buddies in the department!
10. Don't endanger others in the chase. Easier said then done. If you're in town you should be obeying the speed limit anyways but if for some reason you're not, and you get in to a scuffle with the fuz, you better make your escape real quick. The radios are hard to run from in town!
11. Don't let the saying "You can't outrun a radio" scare you. As they might be right in the sense you can't outrun the speed of light, you can; however, out-think them! Like said earlier, get out of sight asap. They can't chase what they can't see and if you get out of sight early enough in the chase, you stand a pretty good chance of getting away.
12. Remain calm. Don't think about what kind of trouble you could get into if you get caught. All that does is take your mind off of what you're doing. You don't need that! Think about what's ahead, not what's behind.
13. Have a plan B! If you get cornered somewhere, don't give up. Most departments aren't allowed to make you crash if you're on a motorcycle but I wouldn't hold to that. Think ahead and think quick!
14. Commit if you decide to run. All to often guys will get scared and stop. Well, the sad part of it is, it's still an elude ticket and you still wind up in the clink.
15. Motorcycle cops are much more dangerous than cars so you better have your ducks in a row if you decide to run from one of these. I've seen some pretty amazing things from those moto-cruisers! They can do just about the same thing as you ( lanesplit, some off roading etc. ) but what it all comes down to is rider vs. rider. Again, be ready for a chase!
16. Last but certainly not least on the list, run like you've never run before. Lanesplit, run red lights (if the coast is clear that is) ride off road but only if you have some dirtbike experience. Keep in mind, cop cars are heavy and big and can't go as many places as you. Do everything you can to get away once you have commited and don't give up.
I could go on for days really, but just remember that you are going to be held responsible for your actions and if you kill someone, well, that's something you decided to do, not anyone else, so know what you're getting yourself into before hand.
I'm not condemning nor am I condoning running from the law but as a fellow law breaker I find it almost nessesary to provide what I know about running from the law to you. You should thank me actually. I'm always open for more ego boosts. Happy running!
P.S. This really should be stickied...but then again, so should everything I post! HA!
