Goodbye Oregon!!!

Hey everyone, Im moving out to Missouri. I'll be leaving the beautiful state of Oregon on Saturday! :( Got a good job out there and my son will be closer to his dad. Wish me luck and lets hope the roads are nice! :D I'll miss you all!

Oh yay, so maybe you can tell me about the roads? They any good?

I'll tell you all about the midwest. Ever see a checker board? Now lay a map on top of it.

Mountains to midwesterners are what we call mounds of dirt. They put ski lifts on old garbage dumps so they have "hills" to ski down. I got in trouble once for "going to fast" down one of them.

Get ready for a no-boundaries feeling...nothing on the horizon in ANY direction you look...flat flat flat flat flat flat flat...

My 5 years in Wisconsin and travels east through Pennsylvania west to the rockies were all the same... icky.

Yeah, traveling through it wouldnt be bad. Its neat down there. The food is great. lol. I just hated constantly breathing water ;) oh and the snakes and alligators and tornadoes and hurricanes...... lol other than that is was good.

The Ozarks in the southern part. They actually have a "wine country" in Arkansas. Lots of water sports.
Tornado alley. If you live in the flat part, make sure you know where the nearest shelter is around you. Meet your neighbors and you might find out they have the concrete bunker in the back yard.
If you like lightening storms, welcome to rumbling heaven.

:) Thanks... everyone here will be missed so much!!! LOL as for the twisties, yeah I was worried about that too. I was wrong though. I'll be in a good area for them. :) I had some people send me some videos they made. Im really looking forward to the roads.... Its going to be hard going out though and not knowing a single person. Oh well, my ex's gf rides, maybe her and I will become friends. haha :D
