so the last the days my speedo has been acting up it will sometimes display my speed then read 0 or just jump around. so i didnt know if anyone might know where i could start i kinda looked at some of the wiring to see for some loose conections but didnt want to get to into it if i dont have to.
also yesterday My Fi light came on for a matter of like 3 min dont know if it might be from the bike sitting in the sun all day and the Ethanol sat at the bottom of the tank and it freaked it out. but some FTI the tank before this one i ran 4 gal. of 110 in the bike so i dont know if its freaking out because its running leaner now. also not running the o2 in the bike but its always been that way.
let me know if you have any ideas what it all could be thanks

all of my speedo probs were fixed by the throttle cable. idk, maybe you dont have one?? but, one time the thing was loose, one time the cable was bad and the other just required lube.. i maintenanced the cable at both ends as well as the house deal at the wheel and the jumping was fixed.. in my case.
and i dont have any idea about the fi light.. i do hear of lots of issues with the new gas. the old stuff is still available in the super flavor. maybe try some of that??
good luck!

If its any thing like my f4 check the fuse box msybe a fuse is lose or wire in that part. then if thats not it take the front fairing off and check the pluges in back of your gauges make sure nothing is lose. i had to rewire mine because the turn singles keeped shorting every thing out. hope this helps.

THe bullet conectors on the blinkers is common itf they are after market... you gotta wack the original plugs. I know on VFR's, when the speedo starts doing wierd things, it's the rectifier... Honda's are kinda known for them going bad... Just a thought....
Ooo... You might check for a common zook problem... the pick up for the speedo sensor is on the counterchaft where the front sprocket it... it is held on by an allen bolt... if thats loose, you can get wierd speedo readings....
