R6 tach

The tach on my 04 r6 occasionally will stick at 0. Then after a few minutes it jumps up to where it's supposed to be. Any ideas on what to check would be great.

It's an electric signal on them...so maybe check the wires instead. lol :yes:


Does it do it all the time? Does the needle act like it's getting stuck on something, then pop free?

No it's only happened 3 or 4 times in the last month. Sometimes I have to shut the bike off and start back up before it works. Speedo seems to work fine just the tach.
