Hey everyone, just though I'd stop in and tell you about a good place to stop along your ride. AJ's Hideaway just off the coburg exit of I 5. Has great food :lets-eat:and friendly service:bounce:. Right next to a gas station too!. Is 21 and over (please don't drink and ride:sad:). Even has a few tables out front to enjoy the sun:thumbup:. So check it out this weekend on your ride, or this week for those able!!!! See you all around this summer and stay safe!!!
And for the sports enthusiast which I know most of us are, there are at least six tv's and three pool tables

ok talking about pit stops theres a really good place to eat on RT138 its called tyee market i think name changed so many times but the new owners have the best burgers. it is a bar as well. but they do a have an outdoor deck looking over the river. so they might allow under 21.

I don't think you'll enjoy a 500 after the 955. Go for the 6!

Talk to Karen about the 675. Sounds like her's has had more than its fair share of lemon issues.

eh? I wanted the 675 bad for a couple years. I cant believe how slim it is. I'm sure the later model 675's are a bit bitter than Karen's. I believe 2005 was the first year for the 675. I still want an 04 Daytona 955. Just has that burly style, know what I mean?

I really wish they made a 750 or 800 in the same vein as the 675. Obviously the larger engine displacement would add a bit of weight, but it should still be very light. And that displacement in a triple would likely have the perfect HP and torque (the 675 and GSX-R750 are still a bit weak in the power for me, but current 1000s have just too much). I'm giddy just thinking about it! :D

True. I used to think I needed/wanted more power. I like the fact that I can hammer the throttle without having to worry about the bike doing a backflip, or loosing the rear. I'd consider a 750. From what I've heard, it's a comfortable jump from the 636, however, there's alot of other 600's I wouldn't ride to the lack of torque.

I seem to remember someone saying I could ride it even before the "battle damage". what the heck did you do to it any way?

I want something light enough to push around by myself but with enough power I don't feel like I'm on a scooter. Not really sure what yet. Been really busy with school that I haven't been looking yet.

Given what you've stated, I think the 675 is worth a look. I'm not a Triumph fan boy, but it has the distinction of being both the lightest and most powerful (stock) 600.

lol.. if im thinking the same, thatd be a great choice as well. pretty much anything out there now-a-days in the flavor youre looking for will give you what you want. there are many good choices and alot of it depends on what you like about each. best of luck finding something!!

I didn't do sh*t to my sweet, baby girl. The Jackass that tried to jack my sh*t dropped it a couple times. I'm still Fn pissed. I'm only gonna get half the bones I need, from insurance. Screw it.. I'll use the money for sh*t I need and maybe down the road have it painted, or get a sweet new fairing kit. I kinda like those race replica deals. I don't know.... Don't want to think about it.

...A hose that was pushed up against the radiator.. and I'm not so sure that wasn't done by someone that helped me with the aftermarket stuff that was put on the bike, not the factory...
Ron and I put your turn signals and frame sliders on that day... I am pretty sure that hose was on the side that I did. :o
Sorry about that. :standcorn

In all fairness, Karens bike has been pretty good considering it's a first year model. There are almost always problems with first year models of everything. And the warranty service has been unbeatable. But even with the problems she has had, I wouldn't call her 675 a lemon my any means.

I'll be hitting this place up soon!
I'm ordering mew tires today. After I get them broken in, I'll let you borrow my bike for the day. Whenever it's sunny, and you have the time to play, just let me know. I just drop her off and walk back home... It's only a couple dozen blocks. So long as you let me have her back when you're done:ride:
