Well the weather god's finally smiled some weather we could count on
85 plus no problem i'm from southern califorina
friday started out great a full day of pratice with Cascade tracktime
burn a full tank of pump gas in the R6
then flip the switch and pour in the good stuff
and get down to some serious work
there was a bunch of fast guys at this day
and my goal was to be able to follow them deeper into 1 and 7
i had been running steady 15's and friday was no differnt
but being the sissie i am i got heat stroked
you can drink all the water you want but you also have to stay out of the sun
i crawl back to my motel wash the sweat and tears off and crawl into bed
saturday is another hot one but i ony signed up for half day of pratice
and i stayed out of the sun
but i did help out with TOR and got a little dizzy by the end of the
day
i praticed in medium fast and was pushing the time's down to the low 15's
best time on sat 1.15.255
my best yet
so i told my self juts one 14 on sunday and i'll be happy
sunday comes and it's beautiful
my team mate showed up on his busted ankle to help me out
i get to the track and check my bike out get into to my gear
medium fast is first out and 600 supersport is first race
sit around and find my happy place go to the riders meeting
go back fire up the bike and were off
still in the low 15's
first race i grid up i'm gridded F1 for some reason i dont like the inside
i tell myself to man up and race
flag drops and we are off i get a decent start
i pass a few on the way to t-1 tip in and go
travis gets by in 1 and i tuck up behind him and try to to keep up
some one comes around me in 3 and i let another up the inside of 4
i spend the whole race going back and forth with these 2
i can just barely see travis on the front straight then the white flag is out
i take 12th best time 1.13.998 holy shit !!!!!!!!!!
i'm so jacked up it cant wait for the next race
race 2 600 superbike grid E 4
flag drops and we're off
i get a good start once again here comes travis by me in one
i tuck in real tight this time and put my head down
here come the same 2 guys trying to get around me
a green and yellow gsxr and a white 675
by now i got it down i've got more motor thanks sage and better drive
we go back and forth the entire race til i finally lose them both and can work on catching up to that god dam kid
not enough race left but i finish right behind him
10th place weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
and a 1.13.905
what a great weekend

tom and everone else who has helped or harrased me into
learning to race
and a huge thanks to sage again my bike is
a rocket
