Okay guys I have a few of questions that I'm not sure of.

1. Does your license get suspended for 3 months with in a 18 month period of getting 3 speeding tickets?

2. If ticket number 1 is issued in April of '08 and the second ticket is issued in August of '08, and ticket number 3 was issued in August of 09 but floating waiting for a court date in November/December would this still cause license suspension?

3. Would it be worth the $500 to pay an attorney to appear in court for you and get your ticket dropped?

I would love any information that you guys can give to me

lets just say I received 3 tickets in that 18 month period and they sent me a letter saying i was on a modified driving suspension which was no driving after midnight. they said i would have a thiry day suspension if i got another one. If you can fight it then do it. But remember the judge almost alway goes with law enforcment because they can't be wrong right. haha

just because you get an attorney doesn't mean the ticket will be dropped.

Pretty sure it depends on what the tickets are for. I've gotten 3 in 18 months and it wasn't suspended.

Edit: Well it looks like it's this...which answers your question to number 1:

If you are 19 or older and you are convicted of any of the following offenses, the DMV will restrict your driving privileges for 30 days. You will be prohibited from driving between midnight and 5 a.m., except for work:
--three convictions in 18 months
--three accidents in 18 months
--a combination of three convictions or accidents in 18 months

And it's only a restriction, not a suspension. Still weird they've never done that with me though.
