Hello everyone. I am new to the area and would like to get opinions on best roads and places to ride. Looking for fun roads, great places to eat, and interesting things to see. Also on roads and areas to avoid. Any and all info will be appreciated.

1. Cottage Grove Lorane Rd is one of my favorites of Territorial Rd. Just watch out in the corners. Sometimes you can ride it in the morning and by noon someone has thrown gravel up the corners

2. Hamm Rd off Territorial

3. Wolf creek is a fun ride.

4. Hwy 36 headed to Florence is nice

Just to name a few

Any road I haven't been on is a fun road... Wolf Creek to the coast (Reedsport) is a fun one when the weather is nicer. Keep checking as we get toward spring and more people will post great rides!

Tons of good pavement here, but I'd like to add one to the above. McKenzie View & Camp Creek use to be my ride home before I started working from home. It's best to ride it outside of rush hour tho cause it can get a bit of traffic on it.

Others I like are Lorane Highway (wish it were longer...the pavement is awesome), Highway 36 & McKenzie Pass (can have a bit of gravel on this side of the summit, but this ride is definitely worth it in my book).

Yep all good roads listed above, and like they said there are a good amount of them. When its nicer definately watch out for the rides going to Aufderheide like Alex said and don't go a summer without hitting S 42 Roseburg-Bandon its my personal favorite :)

Food is always good at the Glenwood. Stoke up the carbs on S. Willamette and then head out to the country!
Like they said, you can hardly go wrong here.
Hell just within 30miles of the city you could spend the whole day piddling around on great twisty roads!
