Sportbike Northwest 2010 dates have been posted! I went last year, and other than the heat it was a fantastic time! I'm planning on going again!
A few of us talked about this at bike nite tonight, so here's the link with more information:

Sure would be cool to get a contingent of ESB folks up there this year!

Sport/Touring (bikes like me)

Dates are July 28 to August 1. I just heard that David Hough will be there again this year, plus Lee Parks (not exactly sure who that is, but apparently known in the sportbike ranks)

The $109 registration ends June 30th! Goes up $10 after that! If you wait to the day of the event, it's an additional $10 too! Don't delay!
I'm still planning on going. Anyone else?

I am considering going, just recently heard its about time. Gotta look over some stuff but might luck out and make it. Does anyone know the registration fee go down for the second person if you are sharing a camp site? Or is it full price or nothing?

The extra $$ for the Maryhill Loops Road is if you want to take a cornering course in the morning. Otherwise, later in the afternoon you can ride it as many times as you want, only with 2-way traffic. I did it last year, and really, there were a lot better roads than this stretch. I think it was just the novelty of the thing!
The registration price is what it is, no matter if you're riding or not. If you're not riding, you really shouldn't go and waste the $$. If you have a significant other, camp outside the fairgrounds (but only the registered person will be allowed on premesis). Yes it's a strict policy, and Tom Merhen (the organizer) does take a lot of flak over it. But after talking with him about why (primarily, liability insurance reasons) I completely understand and agree. Besides, you shouldn't be in the fairgrounds except to sleep. :ride:
I plan on riding up... slabbed it up last year and got my tent all set up. Then started riding! Can't wait for this year!

Is there much for SO's to do? I would like to take company, but not if its pointless.

Oh, I'm sure SO's could find something to do if they're not riding! Hood River is close. My gf plans on visiting her sister's family in Vancouver during that time.

Just a reminder - tomorrow (July 1st) is the last day to register online for $109 - it goes up to $119 after that!

Okay... I'm all registered. Am I the only one from Eugene going again this year?

Looks like you had a great time Nathan. If I didn't dislike camping so much I may consider going
