Hey Guys I'm looking into finding a 1 piece suit.
I don't what dimensions are labeled sizing charts except that I'm
6'2
190
33-34 waist

I would guess that I'm not a very BIG guy so i think the chest measurement would be close to the waist.

Anyone with a suit close to those measurements have an idea on size?

Your going to have to try them on. A 1-piece is like a pair of shoes. The size is a guide. Too much varies brand to brand and model to model. I suggest a trip up to Portland or somewhere will a larger selection of brands/sizes/models. You really want to find something that fits your whole body.

Based on what you just described, you are probably a size 44. Depending on brand, that may translate to a 42 or 46.

I am with tom on this go to portland and get fit for one by people that know what they are doing I went to motocorsa when I found mine. and really a good 2 piece for street riding is better unless you plan on mostly tracktime

I didn't state it (my bad), but I agree with Daniel and Tom that going to get fitted is a great idea. I certainly wouldn't buy anything I hadn't tried on unless there is no questions asked kind of return policy.

When it comes to the type, I have both a 1-piece and a 2-piece, and have unfortunately crashed with both. The 2-piece more or less did it's job, but came apart at the zipper. By that, I mean the crash ripped the zipper & attached material clean off the jacket! That left me more vulnerable, and had the crash been worse, I might have sustained more injuries. Based on that, I STRONGLY recommend a 1-piece when it comes to leathers. The only time I would consider a 2-piece now is if it's a touring suit (i.e. built mostly for comfort and weather resistance, and not so much for outright protection from crashing).

Just my 2 cents. Don't flame me... :runaway:

I got the same 1-piece. It's got one crash on it and held up well. I need to get it a little mended before track season.

good to know they hold up. I've been wondering about the Frank Thomas stuff.

Daniel is the one who first vouched for the quality, to me. He was wearing a Frank Thomas during an off he had, when another motorcyclist coming the other way took him out.

I wish my suit was a little more snug in some areas, but it is well worth the $350 price tag.

That is because you don't have a donut around your midsection!

I wish mine was a little looser in places:lets-eat:- wanna trade??
BTW, the secrets to getting into a suit that's a little snug:
1. Dehydrate and starve yourself for at least two days prior to attempting to don the suit.
2. Treat it liberally the night before with leather conditioner.
3. Hang it in the sun (if present) for an hour or two before attempting to put it on.

(OK, I've only actually used 2 & 3.)
