ok so i won some race railz off ebay got em for a killer deal the only issue is they say the require some fairing modification witch i dont mind doing now its a matter off what i should use to get a nice clean cut anyone have any ideas? iv heard of people using dremals im not sure yet what area of the fairing will need to be cut but as soon as they arrive i will be sure to post some pics of what im working with.

Dremals have served many a rider well, for jobs such as these. :thumbup:
That's what I recommend to anyone who asks. But if you don't have much experience using one, you might wanna let someone else do the cutting, or at least give you some advice.

awsome, have you had much experience with dremals? lol i just really need some pointers like you said, my plan so far is to mask my fairings with 2-3 layers of the blue tape and leave the cut area open. if anyone wants to help me on this i have full access to my shop on the weekends and keep in mind it is a machine shop so if u need and mods while were there it wouldnt be anything for me to fire up one of the HAAS. (CNC) or fire up one of the manuals.

my bad. i couldnt get them to post. its not my bike it was somone elses. so either today or tomarrow i will have them installed and pics posted.

sweet there both on now and they look pretty good i need to order a candy red paint pen so i can touch up around the areas where i cut i didnt have my camera with me so next time im out in V town i can get some pics.
