But since that isn't going to happen, lookin forward to making it out for this one. :victory-s

We need to have a pie eatting contest again! Yummm Yum!
I got into the "slow ride" too. Talking about testing your skill and balance!
The 4 person board walk was hilarious!
Good food, good drink and great fellowship.........................

I hope we can play at SilverBullett's house again!

Last year it was around the 15th. Shall we try to make that an annual thing? Instead of going thru this polling process all the time?

Sounds good. It's far enough in advance that I say pick a date and let people plan accordingly (which is what it sounds like you are doing by picking August 14)!

Thanks for doing the planning Steve! :D

Dang, you all had me goin' too!
Good advice from one who knows..........................Don't be in a hurry to "tie the knot". Because that's what happens. I won't say what gets tied in a knot.
If you're meant to be together a piece of paper isn't needed.

Rex Raider
05-07-2010, 02:29 PM
yep paper work suck sometimes unless it zig-zag then its sucks all the time : )

sorry to hear you can't make it tom.

It looks like the Leaberg Dam park may be are choice this year. Unless something else comes along. We were there 2 years ago and it was just fine.
We even had a some "skill demonstrations" there and no one got pissy about it or caused any trouble.

Well that makes me a sad panda. I missed last years big one. I might have to miss this one too. I just moved back to eugene a couple of weeks ago and now I might be moving again but this time to Fort Worth, TX. So I'm not sure whats going to happen with me. With all the rain it has made trying to get a job almost impossible. Even more so when my places of choice are not hiring =(... Let's hope the rain lets up for next weeks bike night!

That truly sucks man. I know people are bailing the area for Cali and PDX. What can we do?
For those that know they're can't make that date, how about having a BBQ of your own? People usually show up for a good time!
Our new owners are talking about major ramp-ups of production but right now were running short each week. We'll see.

Emilio Lizardo
07-20-2010, 10:45 AM
Hey Rex, you have a GS? Reason I asked is that I'm moving on the 28th which prompted me to go through all my stuff (you know how that goes....."oh, I didn't know I had that!"), and I have an OFFICIAL BMW GS T-shirt which I will gladly gift to you if you want it. No need for the shirt if I don't have the bike any more. :smilewink

I was just notified that there is a BBQ going down next month. I really have no clue what I am getting into but if a bunch of bikers are going I am game to check it out. I supposedly even have someone set to remind me as time gets closer lol. Is there camping at this park or anything close by? Or cheap motels?

R-666
07-22-2010, 08:41 AM
Gonna do my best to be there and Ill bring the machine...I have an event the 14th in ptown, bikini bike wash with the Fulltilt riders so Aslong as the motor doesnt blow, Im gonna try and make it!

R6KillerBee
07-22-2010, 04:53 PM
Hmmm, where is that bikini bike wash? I might have to go serial killer on some bugs to create a need for wash :P

FJMam
07-23-2010, 12:38 AM
gawd it's late I read "Fulltit" not "Fulltilt". Either way I suspect there will be plenty of filthy bikes and bikers there.
As for the BBQ It's at the Leaburg Dam and I don't think there is overnight camping there. My guess is there are plenty of spots further up the road along the river.
Come on down! The water's fine!

R-666
07-25-2010, 10:38 AM
The bike wash it aug. 14th Dukes Bar & Grill 14601 se division st. ptown (greshem area I believe)

Oh gosh Ron, I hope you make it. I wanna play on that thing so more. Its addicting! Lol. Cant wait to see everyone. Zack and I, plus 4 will be coming. :)

R6KillerBee
08-03-2010, 10:38 PM
OK so luck struck and I am hoping to make it down for the BBQ still, but that depends on if my bike is up and running in time. I was taking off for a ride tonight and as I left my driveway and was pulling onto the road I dumped the bike some how. Still not sure how it went down, might have given it a little to much and the cold tires didn't hold, my bad. Now I need a new shift lever and clutch lever just to ride it, let alone I am SHOOTING myself for not getting the frame sliders on already, would have saved me needing new left side fairings. So, if its running I will hopefully still make it, just might not be as pretty as normal lol

1 week

The way this worked before is we all met at the store, pitched in a few dollars each and then RexRaider + whomever bought what was needed. Also people can bring stuff too. If you're 4 wheeling we might need the cargo space for groceries.

Rex is off line for now and asked me to keep the post up dated.

I sure as hell am going to make this ride!!!

My shifter peg/lever is in the mail on its way to me. Should be here by Wednesday. As long as friends don't talk me into going camping I should make it.

Since there is no grill or BBQ coming with us. RexRaider thought we could pick up chicken and sandwich goods to fill the void. We'll get a clear decision at the rendevous spot. Thurston Albertsons 1100.

I'm bringing watermelon and plastic plates, utensils and cups. Plenty for all.
