Never been on a track with the street bike...dying to try it though! I'm going to do my best on getting geared up for this and try to make it for my first trackday! I got one other person that wants to join me, other than that I really don't know anyone that goes to these, anyone here planning on going to this one on May 5th?

Also looking for some help on weather I should sign up for the "relaxed" ride (100 they call it) or the next one up...200:thinking:. Maybe someone on here that goes to these would be interested in going for a ride when we get the sun back to help me out with deciding cause I really have no clue I have never even watched a trackday :bash:

There are more then a few that do track days. I'd be surprised if you didn't get advise or people to join you.

If it's your first track day, you'll want to sign up for the 100 level. If you're running too fast, they'll bump you up a level. At least that's how the Motocorsa track days go.

Thats what I figured was the 100 class BUT my concern is that if I'm going to fast and they want to put me in the 200 does that mean I pay the money again and go a different day and basicly killed my day (remember I have never even seen a trackday)? Thats what I'm worried about...that would be like a:nutkick

Just a guess but I think if you were going to fast for the 100 group the coversation would be like this

"Dude...your going to fast for the 100 group man.....why dont you ride the next session with the 200 group"

Just a guess though.......

Thats what I would hope for...things don't always go as I hope though :(

I just don't want to go ride for 10 minutes and have someone tell me I'm done for the day...

also I got another question, how much ride time does each group get? (need to know how much feul to bring)

They dont make you pay again if they bump you up a class, you would just run sessions with the 200 group instead. If a 3 group format every hour you get a 20 minute session. Usually a full tank and a full 5 gal can will be plenty.

Alright :victory-s thats what I was hoping to hear.

Another Question: So 20 minutes per hour and how many hours is it usually? (total ride time?)

Usually around 8 sessions. If stuff happens ie: waiting for another ambulance, helo extraction, etc it could be less. I've always found it to be more than enough. Many people dont even ride the last session or couple of sessions, it can be pretty empty out there.

For your money cascade tracktime gives you the most time on the track but other groups give more instruction and on your first day you need to get the instruction they show you the lines and talk a bit more on breaking points and other topics you will have fun
